Simone has extensive competition law experience. Simone's competition practice involves advising on a range of competition and consumer law matters for private and public sector clients. This includes advising on complex competition issues in mergers & acquisitions, assisting clients with restrictive trade practices investigations, liaising with competition regulators (including through the statutory notification processes), advising on the impact of proposed joint ventures and vertical and horizontal restraints and developing targeted compliance programs and materials. She also assists clients to ensure compliance across all aspects of advertising and marketing (including branding, promotions and labelling), handle investigations in relation to claims of misleading & deceptive conduct and related conduct. Simone's public law practice involves advising on public law issues in commercial contexts. Simone has had experience advising government and statutory authorities on a range of legislative reform, administrative law and commercial issues. Simone has also assisted in the drafting of regulatory impact statements in respect of proposed legislative changes.
