In 1969 she began her basic studies in Los Angeles, California. Graduated in 1981, in Porto Alegre, as Technical Translator and Interpreter. Worked as English teacher at Yazigi institute of language. She graduated in Architecture and Urbanism in 1995 at UNISINOS. Aiming of integrating her work with computational tools, she worked with Urban and Architectural Design until 2000, always applying CAD tools. In 2000 she applied for a Traffic and Transport Technician position and start working at EPTC where she joined the project team SIMTRAF for implementation of a traffic simulation model in Porto Alegre. In the University of Sao Paulo (USP) she got the titles of Master and Ph.D. in Transportation (2005 and 2010), with stage of six months in Technical University of Vienna, Austria (2008). In 2010 she taught in the area of Water and Air Transportation (UNESP). In 2011 she worked as a contributor to FIPAI in a project where she developed a GIS (Geographic Information System) database to implement a SGPU (Pavement Management System Urban) integrated to other urban infrastructure in the the city of Anapolis, GO. From 2011 to 2012, she has developed postdoctoral studies at the Federal University of São Carlos in Urban Environment Management. She is currently collaborating on the FIPAI agreement signed with the Municipal Company of Traffic and Transportation and the Municipality of Anapolis, GO, for development of the Urban Mobility Plan of the city. Her skills, always looking for improvement in the application of computational tools, has led her to act mainly on the following topics: 2D and 3D Modeling Techniques applied to CAD design, application of Spatial Statistics Tools and GIS for spatial data analysis, application of System Dynamics Models and LUTI Models (Integrated Land Use and Transportation Models) for mobility planning and forecasting of urban development and, also, Traffic Simulation and Assignment Models applied to urban traffic planning.
