Dayco designs and develops the FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) and TBD (Timing Belt Drive) of an automotive engine, realising the pulleys and the belts involved in these engine subsystems.Since September 2013 I'm in charge of testing department as durability and reliability tests supervisor of rigid components outlining the FEAD or the TBD in order to evaluate the tests parameters and the successive analysis of the acquired data from the test rigs. The job sets inside the R&D and implies a strong collaboration and information exchange with the Technical Project Leaders and the Prototype Department to share all information from endurance test usefull to develop the products. Another requirement of this position is to define and share with other dayco plants, all technical standard to abtain a global approac for the testing department. I'm responsible of different documents and indicators as DVP, PVP, KPI's and normally I've to programm and plan several activities by M.Project. Three technicians, one maintenance responsible and one mecanichal engineer, reports direclty to me as team reference. All reports done and all activities performed are shared by me with the mainly requestors like process/quality/projects/prototypes Managers in order to obtain the final results as: process or product or project or supplier approval.

Dayco designs and develops the FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) and TBD (Timing Belt Drive) of an automotive engine, realising the pulleys and the belts involved in these engine subsystems. The main responsabiliy as testing engineer is perform functional test on the engine both on dyno benches and on full vehiles. Normally the activity is divided for 50% of the time directly to the customer side, the rest in house. I arranged vehicles and engines with special sensors useful to map the belt transmissions and all the dynamics related to the engine/vehicle. I performed the tests several time to special customer's tracks as Daimler, VW or on roller benches and engine benches. All the functional test datas , parameters and the successive analysis of the acquired data, are used as input for the Dayco's test rigs.The job sets inside the R&D and implies a strong collaboration and information exchange with the Technical Project Leaders and the Prototype Department to share all information aquired both from internal or customer tests.

Main purpose of this job consist to teach at different Fiat Group eployees or at differents ISVOR customers, these technical corse: technical drawing and regulations, mechanical technology, metrology, quality regulations, ISO-Standard language for auomatic milling/turn machine and welding.
