I am dedicated to customising curriculum delivery and support for all students, including those with EAL/ELL backgrounds, ensuring their diverse learning needs are met.As Curriculum Leader, I am responsible for overseeing school-wide curricula, ensuring alignment with the UK National Curriculum standards. Through effective management and teaching practices, I actively facilitate students' progression to advanced targets. A key aspect of my role involves developing and implementing Early Intervention Plans based on thorough assessment data analysis. I maintain meticulous tracking of student progression and performance, collaborating closely with therapists and psychologists to provide holistic support. In my leadership capacity, I provide management and mentorship to colleagues. I routinely deliver comprehensive verbal and written feedback, conduct assessments, and evaluate performance against predefined benchmarks; actively contributing to the development of action plans to enhance student performance and achievement.I also manage a range of extra-curricular activities and provide academic and pastoral support to students. Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation of student interactions, I foster an inclusive culture that values equality and diversity while adhering to anti-discriminatory practices. Upholding confidentiality and working within legislative frameworks and policies, including safeguarding, I act as a dedicated advocate for students, representing their needs to various stakeholders. I communicate in a manner which ensures understanding and delivers complex information clearly. A significant accomplishment of mine has been successfully introducing and managing the Wellbeing Clinic, offering invaluable guidance on both personal and academic concerns, including targeted sessions to address mental health challenges.

This was a strategically focussed role, working closely within the local community to enhance the school’s reputation. I led the implementation of Extended Schools Service based on school and community requirements. This resulted in increased volunteering in the school, opening future employment and supporting skills development.One of my primary responsibilities was the management of PSHE and related school-wide projects, from concept through to post-completion review. I analysed data and performance, providing regular feedback and updates to stakeholders.Throughout my employment, I participated in regular case conferences and team meetings with the Well-being team, Disability Services, and Academic Support Lead to discuss student progress and coordinate holistic support interventions. I was also instrumental in facilitating joint workshops and training sessions with colleagues from diverse disciplines to enhance staff awareness and understanding of mental health issues and best practices in student support.In collaboration with peers, I ensured that advice and guidance was consistent and ensured a coordinated approach to student support.With a focus on embedding an inclusive, diverse environment, I supported staff to improve teaching and learning standards, and led parent workshops, to facilitate smoother and more efficient communication between school and home. I reinforced behaviour policies, ensuring the social and emotional welfare of pupils in accordance with legislation, guidelines and best practice.I was responsible for writing bids and grants and bursary applications, researching appropriate schemes and presenting information in accordance with requirements, utilising persuasive language to gain financial support. My stakeholder engagement in this role was vast, including SLT, students, teachers, parents, Sure Start and specialists. I embedded a culture focussed on open, transparent communication.
