CURRICULAR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMEStudies of neurophysiology and functional neuroanatomy of the visuomotor system.Independent analysis with descriptive and inferential statistics techniques (in particular machine learning techniques) of neural and kinematic datasets collected in the electrophysiology laboratory. Through the correlation of the observed movement (during reaching and grasping movements of non-human primates) and neuron activity, gathering of information on how populations of neurons encode the studied movements. Data analysis with the use of custom scripts in Python, use of machine learning techniques (neural networks) for the decoding of neural data, related studies, project progress report.
