I have been with Greatwell homes since 2007 ( formally known as Wellingborough homes ) and Wellingborough council since 2004 -2007 . I was employed as supporting living officer but times changed with lots of changes . I progressed in Customer Service where by I take calls dealing with repairs , taking rent payments and advising our customers face to face with all types of tenancy/benefit advice . No day is the same . I like to say I'm cheerful and according to my colleagues I am always smiling and professional which in our line of work a sense of humour is essential when times can be stressful . I do like to motivate people to encourage them that we work hard and team work is key .October 2018 I progressed within Wellingborough Homes to Asset and Amenities officer where I manage all Garages , which will be very soon going through an intensive refurbishment programme . Where hopefully in some areas will control ASB lots of work ahead 2020 has been a challenge for everyone however I am so pleased to have been allowed to move to housing where I am supported which has allowed me to achieve so much more. I am self motivated and enthusiastic to my role . I enjoy what I do and a people person .
