I'm a seasoned recruitment leader who has worked at the cross section of media and technology my entire career with a focus on startups. I started my career on the editorial side with a stint in news as an entertainment writer at the Boston Herald and then moving to on air talent recruiting at both CBS and ABC News. I then pivoted into more of a traditional corporate recruiting role focusing on hiring editorial talent at the Huffington Post. Pushing closer to the startup space - I joined the team at Elite Daily (a millennial focused blog that had just been acquired by the Daily Mail) to help build out their leadership team along with their hiring process. Eventually, I relocated to Los Angeles where was hired to lead recruitment at Amazon Studios - Amazon's video/content business - where I was tasked with building the TA strategy at Studios, helping with employer value prop, working with the C-suite to put together a hiring process that made sense given the culture and spirit of Studios while also hiring for key roles across the business and closing out around 70 reqs myself, my first year.
