I am passionate about climate-tech, innovation and finance. I have over two decades of relevant experience as a manager, board member, consultant and investor in Swiss startups and SME 🚀.🙎🏻♀️I started my career as a consultant for Helbling. One of my clients then hired me to be their full-time CFO. I also served as a board member in our family business.🌱 In 2009 I decided to work in an industry focusing on future challenges: Sustainability, more specifically cleantech venture capital. I started at one of the most established Swiss VC funds, Emerald Technology Ventures. In 2014, we won a mandate from the Federal Office for the Environment to manage the Swiss Technology Fund (www.technologyfund.ch). This fund grants loan guarantees to Swiss companies offering a positive environmental impact. This mandate is still my focus today. We managed to grow the funds portfolio to over 130 promising, sustainable and innovative Swiss startups and SME which helped save millions of tons of CO2 already.💚 I love working in the climate-tech space. I enjoy networking with other investors, startups, foundations and supporters active in the Swiss climate-tech space. I am also passionate about equal rights between male and female, sharing family and work responsibilities with my husband.📚 I studied at Harvard College, Indiana University and earned my Masters degree in Finance summa cum laude from University of Zurich.🏔 Spending time in nature, ideally in the Swiss mountains or in Northern Italy, is pure bliss. If there is some good food, even better. If not, I also love to cook. In my (rare) free time, I play the piano. I live and work in Zurich 🇨🇭 and I speak (Swiss) German, English and French.
