•Save the U.S Government millions of dollars through the accurate review and auditing of complex accounts payable for various portfolios which includes:Examining and processing for clerical correctness, accuracy of arithmetic computations, allowability and charge validations such as allowances and reimbursements, claims, contracts, purchase orders, travel, grants, imprest payments (petty cash), collections, accommodation exchange and/or replenishments sufficient to determine whether vouchers meet applicable provisions, guidelines and agency regulations and are suitable for payment; perform financial reviews implementing policies and having minimal audit findings; review and approve grantee reports (such as SF270, 425 & 1034) in accordance with USAID & OMB guidance; advise Senior Management with financial analysis and reports for the budgetary impacts of personnel related decisions;•Eliminate the misuse of funds substantially on hurricane projects valued at U$50m programmed to the Jamaica Mission for Jamaica and Grenada through the capacity building of partners, accurate reviews, audit and processing of payments; •Manage the Mission payroll, filing of taxes to the IRS and supervise staff etc.
