Simone S Silva published 3 book chapters, 45 peer-reviewed papers in international journals with over 2234 citations, and ISI-h-index of 22 (28 according to Google Scholar). Her present research work includes to develop distinct research lines involving the exploitation of green technologies applied on natural polymers for regenerative medicine. More recently, she is also interested in aloe vera derived matrices for different applications in tissue engineering. Her research work has been carried in collaboration with different European Institutions, including Universidade de Aveiro (CICECO), University of Trento (DMTI) and Indian Institute of Technology.
