I have a track record of taking a co-creation approach to designing, developing, commissioning, implementing, evaluating and mainstreaming innovative, evidence- based programmes with children, families, young people and communities. I have led local and national multi-disciplinary, cross-sector teams that have delivered high quality outcomes and impact and have driven change across health, social care, education and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sectors. I am skilled at developing integrated programmes with agile business and financial models. Successes have included :1. Bringing partners together from across the statutory Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Local Authority Social Care teams, and locality VCSEs organisations to find integrated commissioned solutions to respond to national targets e.g Crisis Care, mentally healthy schools and colleges (national trailblazer) and Local Transformation Planning.2. Scaling the evidence based parenting programme (FAST) in partnership with Middlesex University and 2 national corporate partners across the UK,3. Completing a merger and co-developing a sustainable business and fundraising plan for Keep Britain Tidy as national funding was reduced by over £8M over 2 years.4. Integrating high quality creative approaches in mental health and well-being support by commissioning professional artists to work with young people to co-create public facing exhibitions and performances that challenge stigma, raise awareness, increase inclusion and improve well-being and mental health (via our Creative venue and programme - The Horsfall) My role as CE at 42nd Street has enabled me to invest my expertise into leading an award winning Greater Manchester mental health charity recognised for delivering local impact with national significance and for championing genuinely young person-centred approaches that increase opportunities for young people to shape their own care and influence change. For the past two years I have also been the Greater Manchester Mental Health VCSE sponsor, leading beyond my organisation to support the positioning of the VCSE sector in commissioning cycles and decision-making, local to devolved governance and increasing equitable strategic influence. I was one of the co-authors of the Memorandum of Understanding agreed between the VCSE sector and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and I continue to be an active member of the Greater Manchester VCSEs Leaders Group with a lead for mental health and well-being.
