About Simone Vibert

I am Head of Policy and Research at Internet Matters. Additionally I am Chair of the UK Council for Internet Safety's Vulnerable Users Working Group and a member of the Government's Media Literacy Taskforce Steering Board.I have a wide range of experience across policy, research and public affairs, working on a diverse range of issues but with a particular focus on digital and children's policy. In this time I have authored a series of high profile reports (and co-authored more) which have received coverage from broadcasters, broadsheets and tabloids. I am an experienced spokesperson in the media and in person (e.g. select committees), with a track record of translating policy recommendations into real change.Outside of work I am a primary school governor, with special responsibility for safeguarding.
