Work in an agile Scrum environment, gathering business requirements for a sales quoting application called Frictionless. This application is used by sales agents to place Internet, voice, and video orders for our small-to-medium business customers. Transfer requirements to user stories in Rally for software development teams to reference so they understand how the tool should behave. Work with various stakeholders from marketing, sales operations, customer service, legal, and other groups to create a “roadmap” of features. Prioritize the requests from stakeholders and consult with technical teams to understand the complexities / level of effort involved in delivering these features. Sometimes challenging a request is required. Asking for business value and return on investment from stakeholders is needed when determining priority. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams. New requests and revisions to existing ones are filtered through our team. Organization is required to ensure that no requests go unanswered and attention to detail is needed to guarantee the request is fully captured and communicated accurately to development teams so they can plan their work accordingly. Create end user content so sales agents and customer care teams know how to use the application successfully. Include helpful hints and annotated screenshots so the instructions are easy to understand.
