Simone is a senior communications executive who has worked with a range of high-profile health brands across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She has extensive reputation, communication, and stakeholder engagement experience in health and is passionate about communications supporting transformation and large-scale reform. For the last five years she has been the Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing for headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. She has overseen significant growth in their brand and reputation cementing headspace as the leader in youth mental health in Australia. Prior to this, she worked at Medibank Private driving an industry change agenda to engage health providers and keep healthcare affordable. Simone has extensive public sector experience and has operated at both a Federal and State level.
