Simone currently works for Cairns Regional Council as a Community Planner responsible for strategic community planning projects, asset management and policy development related particularly to Active Transport.She has previously worked as a Senior Urban Designer and has over 8 years industry experience particularly in the transport, education and health sectors. She has had the opportunity to work on a number of large and award winning projects during this time, developing extensive skills in many aspects of planning including precinct design, corridor renewal, city-wide planning, strategic visioning and master planning.
