• Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales or promotions.• Audit the company’s paperwork and ensure allowances are recorded and reviewed• Calculate costs for outlets, summarising detailed insightful reports for Executive Managers and Shareholders.• Perform complex general accounting functions, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis and balance, spreadsheet creation and analysis.sheet reconciliations.• Responsible for the handling of the Front Office reconciliation and balance of all the transactions.• Control and responsibility for the float outlets, maintaining float lists and records on a weekly basis.• Reconcile all outlets paid-outs, controlling differences with Opera and posting them in SAP.• Bank all the income types of payment in the Hotel on a daily basis and review the Month-End/Reporting package fordata validation, requesting foreign currency exchange as the ordinary cash.• Preparing Month-End reconciliations of Accounts Payable and overseeing all the aspects of Accounts Payable.• Act wholeheartedly in the interest of the company all the time.• Study new and proposed laws to determine how they can affect the organization and to ensure full compliance, overseeing the risk factors related to failed internal processes, system breakdowns and employee fraud.• Working with internal teams to calculate the risk associated with specific transactions.• Liaising with stakeholders and board members.• Forecasting and analysing market trends.• Conducting research and analysis to assess the severity of the risk, whilst developing models to analyse external riskfactors that may affect the market position of the company.• Using financial and statistical tools and software to evaluate risk, presenting the results and findings of the analysis, and making appropriate recommendations for improvement and contingency plans to deal with potential threats.
