I am a junior at Pace University, and I am starting to look for roles in the marketing/business industry. As a global marketing management major and a psychology minor, I am fascinated by integrating psychology and marketing into the modern world. Why does a specific marketing strategy appeal to one demographic while failing to appease a separate demographic? Is it possible to differentiate marketing tactics towards multiple demographics based on understanding the human mind? As such, I've taken lots of business in psychology coursework and have had various jobs, as well as my current jobs, that allow me to exhibit my skills in communication and understanding marketing. I would like to put that experience to good use, analyzing how companies can better market themselves by understanding various demographics and what appeals to them.
