To retain and expand business throughout the UPS global network, we carry a Quality Management certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9000 / ISO 9001:2008).Involved in creating our own, specific to UPS, Quality Management System which consisted of a mission statement, quality manuals, work instructions, controlled forms, auditing procedures and schedule, escalating system of non-compliance and corrective action, and review process.Also encompassed within ISO Quality Management auditing was compliance with all other rules and regulations pertaining to UPS operations. These include other internal UPS rules and regulations as well as outside regulations from governmental organizations (FAA, OSHA, DOT).All auditing schedules, quality manual, controlled forms, and work instructions were then built by Operations Improvement department into a Microsoft Sharepoint website for easy distribution of information to Worldport operations management team.
