I hold a degree in Chemistry and I have developed, over my career, a deep experience in the synthesis and characterization of III-V semiconductors by MOVPE and laser diode assembly technologies for the development and production of single and multi emitter laser sources. From the profile of R&D engineer I have progressively developed manufacturing skills and got management positions with responsibilities on people, projects, laboratory management and production. At present I am head of high power semiconductor laser diodes assembly (IR and blue) at Convergent Photonics. Working in a global context, I have developed a strong knowledge of the full semiconductor laser production chain (optoelectronic and high power applications), from the more specific about semiconductor growth and laser diode assembly to the more general ones relative to production, processing and reliability.I’m a goal-driven individual with a good attitude towards teamwork. Throughout my professional experience I have developed strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. I have also established technical and commercial partnerships with international companies in the development and production of semiconductor laser diodes.On April 2020 I got the Bachelor’s degree in Viticulture and Oenology and, consequently, the title of Oenologist. In this field, I'm currently conducting anatomical studies on Vitis vinifera by X-Ray micro computed tomography techniques.
