Policy Analyst and Expert on Sustainable urban development and night-time economy, I support cities and local communities in planning and implementing projects of urban innovation.With the EU co-funded programs European Urban Initiative, URBACT, Urban Innovative Actions, Global Covenant of Mayors and Urban Agenda for the EU, I foster the creation of European and global networks of cities, empowering local authorities to better govern the most relevant urban challenges and supporting them in the exchange of knowledge. I cover projects on social, environmental and economic dimensions of urban sustainability, capitalizing and capturing knowledge emerged from projects and supporting the creation of integrated plans and innovative actions.Among the main topics covered: jobs and skills in local economy, future of work, just transitions, night-time economy and governance, sustainable impact of tourism, active inclusion and reduction of inequalities, collaborative management of commons, social media and user-generated content for local growth. I believe in the power of narrative for changing our cities: that is the reason why I evolved my professional profile from communication to action, while keeping an eye on how to showcase the impact of the projects of urban innovation in an effective way.
