I wrote articles on key scientific developments for Nature Reports Stem Cells. I researched articles, sourced author & independent commentary and simplify complex scientific concepts while retaining meaning. I reported to an editor in California and my articles were regularly quoted and syndicated on a variety of additional websites.

During my internship I researched and proposed profitable products that would improve the job-seeking prospects for scientists. I was responsible for a number of day-to-day lab duties, as well as processing patient samples, performing radio-immunoassays on blood plasma and PCR based genotyping of patient DNA extracted from blood. I instigated a variety of organisation systems for samples and kept careful records of my work.
