• I was hired by the company as a technical and scientific consultant to complete a project concerning the optimization of the thermal load in a quenching furnace:
• Unsteady Thermal CFD analysis for the solution of convective and radiative heat flow inside an autoclave for hardening steel components;
• Engineering optimization of component placement within the furnace to maximize and homogenise the temperature gradient;
• Comparison between numerical data from CFDs and experimental ones collected using thermocouples.
