Enjoyed nearly 6 years in the Aviation environment encompassing employment in USA, Middle East, Europe and UK. Specialised in rotary wing operations with the majority of hours flown in the Sea King Mk4. Currency and modular training conducted in a variety of UK establishments.Supervisory experienced gained by monitoring trainees in the safe ingress/egress of aircraft after delivering the relevant safety brief depending on task. Successfully conducted risk assessments concerning the flight of 'first time' passengers and zero experience students. Daily duties involved checking the serviceability of safety equipment and night vision kit and cross reference with associated paperwork.Valuable experience gained during the careful management of dangerous air cargo, hazardous passengers, operation at aircraft limitations and operation in unpredictable weather patterns.Responsible for the accountability and validity of aviation fuel cards, reporting to the accounts manager.Successfully carried out intensive RAF search and rescue training course and multiple exposure to underwater escape trainer. SERE qualified and a holder of an Apprenticeship in Aviation certificate to compound most ground, technical and ATC knowledge that has been gathered operationally.Vast experience in flight planning, aircraft loading, ATC operations, aviation communications including hazard reporting and conduct during emergency via Flight Reference data.Successfully coordinated the flying programme from the watchkeeper desk by working as a team with other station personalities, including coordination of aircraft emergency procedure. This role also requires careful management of manpower and assets in what can be a rapidly changing environment.
