A new role, created to develop entry strategies for new markets, reported to Sales and Marketing Director.Played a major role in achieving market advantage with introduction of major Healthy Eating promotion, a new concept.Made significant improvements to the quality of Sales Database, Market Research, Analysis and Planning.

Key activities included market research, analysis; retail location planning; stock planning. A new role created to add professional expertise to the marketing function. Developed diversification of product range and introduced a new system to assess retail outlet profitability/potential, leading to closure of 40 shops. Further introduced, for the first time, formal research programmes and application of geodemographic data into Sales/Marketing Planning.
