Born in Brazil and educated in Taiwan, Simone Liu immigrated to the United States to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at UCLA. She subsequently completed her Executive MBA from the prestigious Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China.In addition working with domestic U.S. clients, Simone is Head of AIRE Asia Pacific, leading AIRE Advisors for clients in China and the Far East, where she is deeply connected with business and civic leaders throughout the region. Simone’s multicultural roots have brought a fresh and global perspective to her clients throughout her 17-year career at major firms, including UBS, Morgan Stanley and her latest position as VP of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors in Beverly Hills. A tireless advocate, educator and leader for the management of wealth, she applies her unique “ALIVE” principles – Autonomous, Longevity, Inflation, Volatility and Emotion – to her work.With her intercultural understanding of global financial market dynamics, innovative entrepreneurial skills and sterling integrity, Simone has received numerous industry accolades, including recognition by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of “The Most Influential Wealth Managers in Los Angeles” in 2018 and 2019.Simone actively serves as a community bridge builder both locally and internationally, with current and past memberships and board positions on the LA5 Rotary Club International, University of West Los Angeles Law, The American Cancer Society, The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, Chinese CEO Society of Los Angeles and Chinatown Service Center, among others. She also served as Ambassador between the sister cities of Los Angeles and Salvador, Brazil.Simone is fluent in English, Chinese, Portuguese and proficient in Spanish. She loves animals and traveling, and in her spare time, enjoys reading, going to the beach, hiking and running. She has run many local and international races, including two completions of Gobi Desert Race in China, a four-day competition spanning 120km, known for its harsh desert conditions and drastic temperature changes between day and night. Simone is based in Los Angeles and spends a significant part of the year in China.
