I’m a commercial real estate lawyer representing owners, developers, financial institutions, institutional investors, and REITs in complex transactions across a variety of asset classes. My practice includes financings, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing (including space and ground leasing), joint ventures, and development for commercial, mixed-use, residential and hospitality properties and portfolios. Some of my recent work highlights include representing Brookfield in multiple significant transactions, such as the $1.25 billion financing of the Grace Building and the $900 million refinancing of 225 Liberty Street, both in New York City, and the acquisition, development and financing of its Greenpoint Landing developments in Brooklyn. I also advised Brookfield on its development financing for 655 New York Avenue, a 768,000-square-foot mixed-use project in Washington, DC. Other notable projects include advising a joint venture led by Taconic Investment Partners on its $260 million loan from Square Mile Capital for the development of 202 Broome Street in the Essex Crossing project, and representing Trinity Church Real Estate in its $1.56 billion sale of a 49% stake in an 11-building portfolio in New York City. I’ve also handled high-profile financings and leasing transactions for RXR Realty and RFR Realty, and advised an institutional investor on numerous acquisitions and financings across office, mixed-use, multi-family and industrial properties throughout the U.S. Pro bono work is a significant part of my practice. Recently, I had the opportunity to advise The Legal Aid Society on its 200,000-square-foot lease at 40 Worth Street in Manhattan, and was honored to receive the Legal Aid Society of New York's Pro Bono Publico Award for my work on this project.
