I'm a planner with 19+ years experience, primarily in the private sector. I specialise in socioeconomics and housing policy but also have a strong background in EIA and SA/SEA. I regularly act as an expect witness on planning appeals and give evidence to plan examinations. Areas of work primarily include:- Objectively Assessed Needs (OAN) for Housing and Employment- Five Year Housing Land Supply (5YHLS)- Strategic planning analysis (development strategies, settlement hierarchies, supply trajectories etc.)- Socioeconomic impact assessments and health impact assessments (standalone or for EIA)- Assessments of need for education, healthcare, public open space and other community infrastructure - Infrastructure analysis for major new developments, particularly settlements.
