A professional footballer playing in the Women’s Super League. Currently playing for Aston Villa Women, previous clubs include Everton Women where I achieved over 150 appearances. I also play for Northern Ireland and have earned over 80 caps to date. Throughout my career whilst football has been my primary focus, I have been sure to invest time into other areas that I am also passionate about. I am currently in the process of writing up my PhD thesis concerning ‘an exploration of coaches use of video-based feedback’ - a sociological piece that I hope will provide alot of insight into the many complexities involved within coaching practise as well as considering how individuals seek to manage their behaviours and relationships within the workplace. Alongside this I have more recently started to apply my knowledge and develop my skill set by beginning to deliver guest lectures surrounding my work and also engage in storytelling/guest speaking about my journey.Occasionally I also do some tv and content related work.Outside of work commitments I am an advocate for the Northern Ireland’s Children’s Hospice and support the fantastic work they do.
