As Head of the Support Services and Operations (UFS South Campus) I am responsible for leading the following departments:Applications, Admissions, Registrations and Graduations Results and ExaminationsOccupational Health and Safety Venues, keys and network printersAlso responsible for liaising with the Directorate for Student Discipline and Mediation on UFS South Campus cases, HEMIS reporting on campus venue allocation, campus signage and telephony. There are 12 staff members reporting directly to me. During 2018 I became involved in Student Affairs on the South Campus, assisting with all logistical arrangements as well as the Rector’s (Prof Francis Petersen) engagement with students. Campus life and the vibrancy thereof excites me, especially when helping students in need of guidance. The highlight of my career in this position was visiting STEM schoolsin New York, Chicago and Puerto Rico in doing research for establishing a STEM school on the UFS South Campus. Responsible for all Open Distance Learning functions pertaining to Examinations Administration and processing of students' results. Managing 4 staff members.

Responsible for Open Distance Learning programmes' results and examination processing.

Responsible for keeping the Family Math and Family Science website up-to-date. Managing material for workshops.
