Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS) a 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation was established in 1977 to help fill the need for affordable recreational and educational programs for children, veterans, and adults with special needs.This is a multi-facetted position; in this position I work closely with the Associate and Executive Directors to create an effective fundraising plan, and maintain the best experience for all of our clients. I'm excited to be here and can't wait to see how the year unfolds.

In the Development Department I hunt down potential donors (large and small), conduct and collect research for grants, run minor fundraising events like LIVE PC GIVE PC and the Dream Day at the Canyons Photo Contest, track donors and donation amounts, and help fulfill grant requirements. In the Membership Department I'm the initial person members and potential members speak to. I maintain and revise our membership data base, reach out to expired members via email and phone, and create and mail out member cards each month.As the Social Media Manager I update our 6 social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, and Artsy.net). I collect content from: all of our current/future exhibitions and art classes, local businesses/nonprofits, current art news, trending topics, and KAC sponsors and supporters. In this position continual learning is extremely beneficial; I am constantly reading up on and attending webinars on social media. As the Front Desk Manager I manage three woman, these women are the KAC's initial point of contact with visitors and members. It is my job to keep these women informed on the existing/future exhibitions, the whereabouts of the KAC staff, and art class times and changes.

I assist HR, the Marketing Team, the branch manager, accounting, and the CFO.
