Simone is a qualified & accredited Counsellor. She has been practicing as an integrative counsellor for over seven years. Simone is passionate about supporting her clients through her humanistic approach to positive change.Simone uses both Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in her practice. Her approach is both person centred and goal orientated. This means that clients both achieve their goals & reach a newfound internal equilibrium. Simone holds a Certificate in Counselling Children with Place2Be. Simone is an accredited member of the National Counselling Society. Simone works with both adults and children and is DBS checked.~~~Simone held joint responsibility for Key Stage 1 (year 1) during the autumn term which was a cohort with a variety of languages, cultures and backgrounds represented. The class was ethnically mixed with a high proportion of SEND children and several EAL children. Simone developed teaching approaches and differentiation strategies deployed for children considered SEND or EAL. Simone formed an understanding of various approaches deployed in terms of BfL. Simone held main responsibility for Key Stage 2 (year 4) during the Spring/Summer term where there were several children with SEND and EAL. Simone is committed to creating a stimulating and supportive environment where children are motivated and encouraged to reach their potential. Simone is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to the best possible learning opportunities by addressing barriers to learning.The whole class lessons Simone has planned and resources prepared have had differentiated tasks to personalise and support the learning of individuals; meeting the needs of the children. Simone has ensured that material is exciting, engaging and challenging to accelerate the high ability children whilst still ensuring children with SEND and EAL are supported.Simone has deployed a variety of AfL techniques and adapted further lessons according to their achievements and understanding. Simone planned a variety of lessons for the summer term and gained confidence with considering the children’s prior learning and planning achievable and stimulating lessons.~~~
