Research overview of my postdoc position at UPenn:Neuromodulation studies investigate how peptides affect neuronal networks individually and isolated from one another. But in vivo, these chemical substances are released in concert. I use the small nervous system, the crab stomatogastric nervous system and electrophysiology techniques to understand how combined peptides affect a rhythmic neuronal motor network.
