It all started discussing my thesis on how to use digital to manage knowledge inside corporations right when Wikipedia was founded (2001).Soon after in consulting I did some really innovative projects (ever developed a videogame to explain the budget process?) and some others more conventional, but in complex settings (deployed a digital business impacting process designed by the Italian Headquarter into French and Indian branches).After I quit consulting industry to be the employee #1 in an E-commerce start-up when E-commerce was gaining momentum in Italy (Amazon and Groupon opened in Italy some months after in 2010). There I built from scratch all the internal operations (IT and People) and scaled them up till the acquisition by the main European player in travel e-commerce (Lastminute.com).Finally I landed in an Insurance Company digital office. After 6 month the regulator made mandatory to provide customers with a digital personal area. After that I worked starting up various projects related to the digital transformation (a marketing and digital reporting team, some customer experience processes, the first company mobile app, the multichannel subscription process). Then I managed the program to spread digital mindset in the organisation (including engage hundreds of colleagues in using digital tools in a live company town hall) and incubated a corporate stat-up studio.People I have worked with during these experiences say my hallmark is results with a smile (you can read more about this in recommendations below).Till now, I don't know if I have been lucky or good in choosing the right time&place to be where the innovation is starting, but in any case I enjoyed it a lot.As for tomorrow, I'm alert and ready to catch the next wave approaching... :-)
