I am a Senior Technical Program Manager at Tesla, where I support the design and manage the installation, commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up of battery electrode manufacturing equipment at Austin's Gigafactory, focusing on dry cathode calendering-lamination machines and cathode slitting machines. Through my engineering, project management, and Lean Six Sigma skills I drive innovation and efficiency in battery production, aligning with Tesla's mission and vision.Before joining Tesla in 2023, I worked at Sofidel America, a leading global tissue paper manufacturer, as a Senior Project Engineer, Process Engineer, and Commissioning Coordinator. I managed various capital and process improvement projects for the paper mills in North America in 2021 - 2022, delivering significant cost savings, quality improvements, and environmental benefits. I led the commissioning and start-up of a high-tech greenfield paper mill in 2018 and managed the mill’s process development and optimization during the following production ramp-up in 2019 - 2020.I hold a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università di Pisa, and I am a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). I have strong problem solving, communication, and technical skills, and I am fluent in Italian and English.I’m adaptable, proactive, and open to different cultures and points of view.
