Experiences gained thanks to years dedicated to a professional career that saw me work in different sectors and countries. Competences and knowledge acquired in years of study and successive experiences matured while working in a variety of international organizations, foreign policy think-tanks, United Nations and European Union offices.Furthermore after having diversified my skills set with marketing courses, two on the doctrine of non-conventional and multimedia marketing but also one in Intensive Marketing at the SDA Bocconi in Milan, I have managed to change career course and work for communication and advertising agencies. In my previous work experience I have gained the ability to translate research-based insights into practical policy recommendations, as I contributed to the drafting of policy briefs on both economic and political questions.I have lived for five consecutive years in the UK while studying at university, I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Development Studies and International Relations from the London Metropolitan University and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations: Global Security and Development from the University of Plymouth. I have worked in English speaking offices in two UN Agencies in Italy, UNICRI and ITC-ILO, for six months each, for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Beirut for six months, at the Delegation of the European Union at the UN HQ in New York for five months, for the office of the International Labor Organization of the UN at the Jerusalem office for six months. I have also worked as a salesman for around five and a half months in Melbourne, Australia. I can safely say that my level of knowledge of English is at Native Level. I'm also very fluent in French, which I studied for over 8 years obtaining a DELF qualification, it also helps that my mother is francophone and I have relatives with whom I only speak in French. In 2009 I also attended a two month course at the Académie Française in Paris, to refresh my knowledge of the language. I have also basic notions of Portuguese, having done two, month long courses in Faro, Portugal for two summers in a row and now studying full time in Coimbra at the Facultade de Letras . I have studied Arabic while working in Beirut.I am now studying Russian.
