The Older Child Adoption Project (Adoção Tardia) produces content targeting adoption candidates to responsibly broader their desired child profile, aiming to increase the number of successful older child adoptions. Activities:Co-creating content with foster care institutions, public prosecutors and judges from the child protection section to increase the number of successful child adoptions;Manager of three successful crowdfunding campaigns;Documentary film producer (premiere in 2021/2). Coordinating donor relationships and filming contractors. Defining script, recruiting participants, creating documentary branding and distribution strategy;Creative director: producing, filming and editing instructional videos that guide discussions in adoption support groups organised by 11 organisations in six states in Brazil;Speaker of foster care children’s rights in adoption events to raise awareness about the misconceptions about older child adoption.

Implementing all design stages from product discovery to final interface hand-off to engineering;Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and maps to communicate interactions and design ideas effectively;Defining interaction models, task flows, and UI specifications;Involving internal and external stakeholders and incorporating their feedback into prototypes;Providing guidance and expertise throughout the process.

The project unfolds in two streams: supporting the FAS Public Policy team to redesign their involvement with policy-making matters; disseminating designerly thinking and methods among the FAS workforce.Activities: Co-created with FAS Public Policy Team an advocacy strategy through mapping key policy areas and exploring a future vision;Facilitated four design thinking workshops (38 participants in total) that gave practical exercises in human-centredness, experimentation and prototyping;Created frameworks and step-by-step guides to support the embedding of design practices.

Conducted field research, created program learning structure, visual language and editorial project;Client/Field: Sicredi/Financial Institution. Created new services, education programs in cooperativism and the future vision for an omnichannel experience in credit union branches. Conducted user-research, facilitated co-creation workshops with users, visualised user-journeys, translated the information collected to actionable insights, created prototypes (interfaces and service experiments); presented diagnosis and final proposals; specialisation: design lead for translating cooperative values into credit union branches;Client: Hercosul/Pet-food Industry. Co-created an innovation culture strategy with principles and critical areas that guided the organisation’s efforts.
