My name is Simone, and at 22 years old, life has been an incredible journey. Let me explain why.I began my career at a bar, one of the initial steps I took and continued climbing. I genuinely enjoyed interacting with new people and offering sober advice to those who needed it most. Although it started as a way to earn extra money, I practically lived at the bar, working from 8 am until 2 am. This experience was exhilarating for me because I loved the nightlife and didn't mind staying up late.As time passed and I grew older, I began to reflect on where I was headed and where I saw myself in ten years. Reality set in, accompanied by a sprinkling of anxiety—I felt I wasn't fulfilling my full potential.I then transitioned to calling myself an electrician and enrolled at Sol-tech, where I found joy in the work itself, despite the challenging male-dominated environment. Working from 9 to 5 with men was tough, but quitting was never an option, thanks to my upbringing. My year at Zipcord was grueling; I worked tirelessly, but my efforts often went unnoticed in what seemed like a man's world. Long hours became routine, and sacrificing my social life and family time for a company that didn't fully appreciate my dedication was disheartening.However, each of these roles was just a stepping stone. I moved on and found myself working as an administrative clerk, only to discover that sitting behind a desk wasn't where my passion lay.So, as you read this, don't simply see me as a bartender, electrician, or administrative assistant. These roles represent the diverse experiences I've had, but my journey doesn't end there. I crave more knowledge, more challenges. I am determined to leave a mark for women who love what they do.
