J&P's clients are either High Net Worth private clients or small to medium sized businesses. I am Diploma qualified and continuing to work towards Chartership. I have attained my Statement of Professional Standing and therefore am able to trade from January 2013. My knowledge and experience has been gained from working firstly as a tied adviser at the Prudential and Aviva, then for the last 11 years as an Independent Adviser at Newell Palmer and Associates Ltd. J&P has now been trading for 20 years. My father John Flinders ran the business until I came into it and became a Director in 2007. My father has subsequently retired. In recent years we have acquired a couple of practises into J&P. We are dynamic and professional company that aim to offer excellent service to our clients. I was employed as an Independent Financial Adviser dealing with High Net Worth personal clients and Business (Corporate) clients. My expertise was with building solutions and effective financial strategies to business owners, Director/Shareholders and high net worth individuals in areas such as tax planning, investments, IHT, Pre and Post retirement planning and all protection issues.

I was employed as a Financial Adviser with General Accident, which subsequently became CGU and then Aviva. In my 1st full year at General Accident I finished the year as the Top Financial Consultant and was promoted to become a Senior Financial Consultant.In my time I won numerous, quarterly, half year and yearly awards and was employed in the West Midlands Team - managed by Malcolm Lindsay.

I was employed as an Agent in Erdington. The role of an Agent including collection of monthly premiums, servicing the clients, new business including General Branch, Life Assurance, Savings and Pensions.
