Planned, designed and executed Diageo Supply’s first and only end-to-end best practice compliance program spanning across 26 markets which was subsequently showcased at the 2019 Process Excellence Conference in Amsterdam, and then published by research consultant company, Gartner. This program was crucial in Diageo’s breaking into the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25. A position that the company still retains today.Coordinated the design, development, and implementation of Diageo’s first critical thinking workshop (a skill that is earmarked by the World Economic forum as the most in-demand for employees in the next 5 years) which received widespread positive feedback from senior stakeholders.Develop relationships with senior stakeholders from all 26 supply markets, along with function supports to guide markets through their change and process excellence journey. This involves support and monitoring of best practice standards that includes ways of working, tier meetings, KPIs, new technology roll-outs and governance.

Facilitated several projects mainly on COGs reduction, collaborating with suppliers and technically validating recommendations to enable African breweries to unlock 0.6mHl capacity and in turn reach their AOP targets.Program manager for S&T projects that provided structure, governance and clarity for the team to consistently hit their weekly targets and contribute to their financial year goals. This involved designing and chairing weekly meetings that monitored project progress and KPIs.

This role involved facilitating several workstreams at a high-performing packaging site, and coaching team members to increase their capability through the Manufacturing Excellence program.These Manufacturing Excellence workstreams included focused improvement, environment health and safety, 5S, visual management, teamwork, visual management, asset care, set-up time reduction. My program management helped push the sites F17 OEE performance to 79%, which was a substantial gain from the previous year's performance of 74%. Through coaching of the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control) process, I facilitated the successful closure of 5 focus improvement projects, saving a total of 6% OEE and £35,000 per annum. By my support and coaching, the Mallusk daily root cause problem solving process was cited as "best-in-class" across the International Supply Centre and contributed to a very strong Asset Care workstream. My role also entailed increasing the capability of Team Leaders in improving their ownership/responsibility of the ManEx program. Finally I designed a platform to stage the strategic development of the site. This was achieved through formalising a weekly operational steering committee that discussed strategic goals which also had respective owners.

In its first year, I have successfully helped launch and sustain Diageo's Guinness Codex Project. Initially rolled out at St. James Gate in Nov 2015, this project involved introducing rigorous standardization into the production of Guinness, resulting in "Great Guinness, Every Time, Everywhere", with its mandate to improve the flavour consistency of Guinness across all production sites.My contribution has involved creating the infrastructure in order to capture and monitor nearly over 140 KPI's throughout the Guinness production process. This includes creating a system to help monitor and critically analyse production data, collaboration on continuous improvement projects, and communicating results and trends to key stakeholders. I have also worked closely with production staff in order to facilitate change that will ultimately lead to a consistently better tasting product. Following it's initial success, I have helped introduce Guinness Codex to several other Guinness producing sites, including Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon and Nigeria. The result of this project has led to an overall improvement in quality sensory tasting scores across Diageo's International Supply Centre and was reflected in increased global sales of Beer for the company. The codex project is now currently being ushered into the production process of Diageo-owned Lagers and Ales, such as Harp and Smithwicks.
