I am a Strategy & Consulting Senior Manager with Accenture, aligned to Financial Services and Insurance. I’ve been with Accenture for 10 years this July (2021), with most of my career in S&C FS Banking in the UKI, based out of London. During this time I spent most of my career as a SI Delivery practitioner for complex transformation programmes (either in an advisory or assurance capacity).From Q1 FY20 (2019) I started a new journey, transferring to Australia and moving into S&C FS Insurance. Since moving to a new Growth Market, i have been involved in driving Living Systems Transformation Client journeys, how to tackle big change in small increments, in a continuously self-funded model. This work identifies and addresses how companies close the 'innovation achievement gap' in their IT spending, driving them to reinvent their business growth strategy to be powered by technology and realign their organization so technology is at the heart of their business. In turn this model shifts organizations from business cost centers to innovation enablers, optimizing existing costs and reallocating funding from fixed budgets to discretionary spend.The outcomes of Living system benefits are achieved through five key levers of change - Strategy powered by Technology, - Organization realignment around technology, - Practice of new ways of working, - Technology (Hyper automation, Cloud, Architecture, Security and Data), and - Talent transformation to embed a culture of innovation. Following university my first industry experience started with an ACI Worldwide (formally Retail Decisions PLC) delivering Payment Processing (POS), Acquirer integration (Settlement Clearing) and Fraud Prevention Services.
