I graduated from UCD with a 2.1 International Bachelor's of Social Science. I chose this degree as I have always wanted to work in market research and feel that studying Sociology and Psychology has helped me to understand not only how to conduct research, but also how people think individually and collectively. I am a freelance writer and have had over 100 articles published online in the past year, and have sold more that have yet to be published. These are on three websites, Listverse, Knowledgenuts, and TopTenz. Listverse attracts 1 million readers a day, and most of my articles generate between 100 & 200 comments. I have written on a wide range of topics, including travel, animals, history, religion, crime, human behavior and science. I have also had articles included in a book published by Listverse and an audio-book published by TopTenz. I spent 2 years working for the market research company Millward Brown, conducting phone surveys. This has helped my understanding of market research, as well as my communication skills. I have also conducted mystery shopping on behalf of Customer Perceptions. Further to this, I have also studied focus groups in University, taken part in them outside University, and have done work experience with QMP Advertising and Brian Wallace Advertising.
Listed skills include Market Research, Research, Qualitative Research, Social Sciences, and 19 others.
