I have many years experience working with directors whose businesses are undergoing significant change, stress or distress. I'll always respond immediately to those requesting an informal discussion and offer my experience to help their planning in difficult circumstances. My principal aim is to seek to create a sufficient runway to work with key stakeholders to enable management to implement their preferred strategy, but where success is uncertain, to gain an understanding of the alternative options available and when these might need to be implemented.In February 2023, I completed a 4.5 year term as Regional Chair in West & Wales of the Institute for Turnaround. Following which, I have become an elected member of the Fellows Committee of the IfT and hope to use this position to help the executive team develop a truly diverse and generational turnaround offering relevant and available to all UK plc.
