About Simon Glendenning

I've led APAC and EMEA for a Fortune 500 Fintech business, and I've bootstrapped a fitness startup that expanded across >60 countries before being acquired. The lessons I've learned along the way have shaped me as a leader.I enjoy leading teams who are committed to solving challenging problems, creating amazing client solutions, and generating scalable business growth. As Chief Operating Officer at Partners Wealth Group, I lead the creation and execution of our strategic growth plan across our multi-disciplined business, which includes: Wealth, Superannuation, Legal Services, Lending, and Wholesale Investments.Like most, I was impacted by the downturns which eventuated as COVID-19 caused many countries to lockdown through 2020 and 21. I noticed an uptick in redundancies while at the same time small businesses were hanging on for dear life. Subsequently, I founded ‘Raised Hand’ a free platform that connected redundant professionals with small businesses in need of pro-bono support. Raised Hand partnered with American Express and Small Business Australia, making many connections and generating significant economic value, as well as creating jobs.Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with my family and seeing my kids find their passion. Mine is running, and I'm the current 800m National Champion for my age group.
