Enerkem is the first company in the world to produce methanol from municipal solid waste (MSW). Since my arrival in Edmonton, after my transfer from the R&D plant in Westbury, Quebec, we've accomplished many production milestones required by our investors. Construction is still ongoing to increase the capacity of the plant. My role is not only to run the plant, but also help with construction activities. In addition, as Team Lead, I am responsible for integrating and training new operators. Leadership and initiative are essential for the project's success.
