Responsible for batch runs, system monitoring, backups/restores and out of hours user support.Gained promotion as a Shift Manager, responsible for one of four teams, reporting to Datacentre Operations Director.Duties included supervision of operations shift, liaising with other technical teams, involved with Datacentre capacity and crisis management.Moved into a more specialised technical role and joined the Data Network Team. Member of a 40+ member team responsible for the smooth operation of the Barcap Global Network.Gained experience working in multicultural environments through the design, build and support of networks in the Italian (Milan), German (Munich), Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices.
