About Simon Greensmith
Since January 2021, I have opened a new community sports club during COVID, successfully project managed the build and development including installation of the sporting facilities including and hospitality. I have created and implemented all health & safety, human resources and operational policies and procedures and recruited and trained over 20 employees who successfully operate the business. The board of directors are all volunteers so i have had to write budgets, business plans and fully manage the growth of the business from opening. Alongside the honorary treasurer for support I manage all financials for the business from cash in the bank to P&L, this includes paying staff, suppliers, all invoices, cash reconciliation and setting up high level contracts. Previously to this I was a General Manager of a Leisure Centre with over 100 employees. I was accountable for meeting EBITDA targets for all lines from direct membership sales to cost saving.
