I am able to offer one-to-one tuition at very reasonable rates and on a flexible basis, as well as delivering workshops and lectures to groups of students if required. I work as a tour guide both in London, and on the European battlefields of WW1, WW2 and the Cold War. I have experience working with all ages, from school parties through to mature adults; and groups of all sizes, from small family parties to large coach groups. In all cases, my tour itineraries are underpinned by thorough historical research and careful planning. I am passionate about the subject areas I guide in, and so my aim is to make each tour an engaging and informative learning experience, whilst also ensuring it is enjoyable and relaxing.Drawing on my expertise as a photographer, I also have an extensive library of images of the locations in which I guide; and I regularly give talks, workshops and lectures to groups about those locations, using the images as a tool.
