A Voter Contact Organizer makes sure that a campaign always has a team of volunteers ready to knock on doors, make phone calls, do data entry, and attend events. As VCO for Durham region, I helped fill this role in the ridings of Oshawa, Ajax, Whitby, Pickering-Uxbridge, and Durham. As we got closer to writ drop and individual campaigns required a full time VCO, I was deployed to the riding of Durham to fill this role for the Chris Borgia campaign.

As part of the compliance team, my job was to ensure that all the riding CFOs under my supervision were able to complete their end of year toolkits and submit them to Elections Ontario. I therefore helped facilitate training sessions, designed an maintained databases, answered any compliance related questions that were asked of me, and acted as an auditor for riding below a certain fundraising threshold. For ridings under my supervision that did not have capacity, I filled the role of CFO, completing the toolkits myself. This role concluded when all ridings under my supervision successfully turned in their end of year toolkits to Elections Ontario.

I ran to be the member of parliament for Don Valley East as a New Democrat in the 2021 federal election. Starting with a small team and very limited budget, we were able to make important connections with the community, increase our percentage of the vote, and build a large, strong, and diverse team. It will serve us well in future elections.

I was responsible for running the Languages at Work Program at York University, Glendon Campus, in coordination with the Explore Program. The program is both a jobs program and an exchange program, when explore participants are recruited to work in their second language. At Glendon, this means participants are recruited as Language Monitors for the Summer Explore program. I was in charge of promoting the program, recruiting participants, and then supervising and advocating for those who the Glendon Explore Program hired. I was also in charge of all associated paperwork.

This position filled the role of administrative assistant at Glendon's Continuing Education department, helping the coordinator perform tasks in both english and french. This included, but was not limited to: -being responsible for communication through the telephone, email, and mail by post-created and edited documentation vital for the running of Con Ed's various programs-assisted in the conceptualisation, planning, and administration of events-provided technical support to the program's teachers-attended various events and conferences on behalf of the Con Ed department.

This was primarily done through the warning system, where participants faced penalties for not speaking their target language. -I taught a workshop where participants could practice their target language in a variety of ways. I also assigned and marked exercised towards this end. -I worked with other monitors to run events, trips, and meals.
