Highly motivated, resourceful and results driven Building Surveyor.I have extensive experience in all aspects of Commercial Building Surveying but particular expertise in the conception and delivery of complex and challenging national portfolio projects through the management of nationwide teams.Current specialism include:•The Project Management of refurbishment and new build construction works of projects up to £2m.•Business generation / client management and development.•Bid / tender submission and management.•The design, delivery and management of projects often with portfolios in excess of 500 properties.•Leading multi disciplinary teams in the preparation and negotiation of complex Terminal Schedules of Dilapidations with Claims in excess of £7m.•The provision of strategic dilapidations advice to both tenants and landlords on nationwide portfolios and on large complex multi tenanted sites•Acting as Principal Designer on a variety of large scale commercial and residential developments with project values in excess of £10m.•Advising on Health and Safety issues including CDM, Disability Discrimination, Asbestos and Fire Precautions.•Defending complex dilapidations claims on behalf of Tenants.•Providing pre-acquisition and due diligence advice regarding both freehold and leasehold property.•Providing advice on insurance issues including the provision of reinstatement cost assessments.Whilst at Rapleys acting on behalf of one client I have prepared and negotiated Dilapidations Claims recovering in excess of £28m.
