Seeking Staff Development, Community Outreach, Corporate Social Responsibility Roles as a former public educator for the last 10+ years. This is a big career pivot for me, however an exciting one as I break away from the public sector with a wide skills set, a brain bursting with creativity, and the sort of life experience most people in tech are unable to boast about. I look forward to bringing my leadership, public speaking, curriculum design and instructional design, creative content production, film production, writing, and communications/ community outreach experience to the tech sector. I would be thrilled to work with corporations/ startups with emerging technologies. I am very interested and read up on developments in Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Video Game Design, and am hip to the developments in blockchain technologies, as well. I am not only a former educator; I am a life long digital and visual artist, film maker, musician and solo recording artist and enthusiast. I love the beach, nature, and backpacking. I am a "BOY DAD" to a 5 year old wild man, and have dabbled in entrepreneurial pursuits over the last year, while also taking advantage of this opportunity to deeply bond with my son by being available to pick him up from pre-school and care for him in the afternoons. But he has moved onto Kindergarten and now had after care until 5pm. Which means I need a new career as soon as possible! The aforementioned entrepreneurial pursuits, revolved around my digital art, merch and clothing designs, and a bit of freelance creative film and photo work to supplement, the meager earnings from thousands of hours of Lyft driving (often for less than minimum wage, that I have been doing). This entire year was a crash course into how to start your own one man company and play the roles of every single department in the process. Needless to say by the end of it I had built a skill set that would make me an asset to startups looking for someone with experience in product marketing, digital advertising, google analytics, website building, social media advertising, and social media account management/ creative content production. After not getting out as much financially as I invested into this experiment, I have decided to move on to looking for a "real job" that actually has a salary and enables me to share my broad set of skills with a team of like minded, socially conscious, tech obsessed people.
